Premiere!
Today Gokusen the Movie came out in theatres in Japan. Actually it's already the 12th there, so it was released yesterday. To bad it will be a long long time before I will be able to see it! The agony of waiting! As of yet, I haven't heard any news about how opening day was. Not that I know where to find that out. Ok so I hope it gets great reviews, the drama ratings were always good, so hopefully that will translate to the movie! That's all I wanted to say!

To make this post actually about something- this is the list of Jdramas I am currently watching [in parenthesis are the reasons/actors I watch them for, if none, I am watching cause I like the story line or there are actors I recognize, not necessarily like] -

Update/Change
So I realized that "jdramas in general" is to specific. In my exploration for all the dramas, I have come across many new interests, some that I just have to blog about in a totally obsessed sort of way- hence the new name! I will still blog about J dramas but also a lot more about the actors and various singers who I have come to LOVE (KAT-TUN). That's it!

1st Jdrama review- Bloody Monday
First review of a show!! There have been many Jdramas that I have to comment on, so here is the latest one I have finished.
Bloody Monday
staring one of my personal favorite actors Miura Haruma. Sato Takeru is also another fav of mine who is in the show.Not to mention that Narimiya Hiroki also played the bad guy! I thought his performance was especially good. Truthfully I have only viewed him in Gokusen and Stand Up! so it was my first time seeing this side of his acting. Though when I saw him in Gokusen for the first time, he seemed like he would be able to play the antagonist fairly well. Enough about him, back to my fav Haruma... Awesome performance.
The show in general was amazing! I expected something a little bit different before I started watching it but wasn't disappointed in thinking that it would be a great show to watch. That is to say it was one of the very few shows that I watched continuously the whole day, until I finished it. Always on the seat of my chair. There weren't any unnessary episodes of pure backstorys or meaninglous down time. Not that I have a problem with them, I like backstories in the right shows.
The plots weren't all to obvious and, not to give anything away, there were twists and turns. I guessed some of them in the beginning, but was also very wrong on some assumptions I made. It is always nice to have a show make you question everything and to keep you guessing- shows that make you THINK! These are my favorite type of shows.
This is the reason I chose to write about Bloody Monday first out of all that I have watched.
This show is going on my top ten list. Not many can for sure make my list. Being used to watching shows with a lot of seasons like Stargate SG-1, Charmed, Supernatural, ER, and others this drama was one that thouroughly peaked my interests. 10/10.
Since quite a few make the 10/10 rating for me, I intend to try to be more tough on the rating process for this blog.
I have just begun to scratch the surface of Japanese dramas to watch. These are extremely different from what I am used to. I am so glad for a change, especially with all the shows that seem to be getting cancelled on American television. Though with most of the jdramas i watch, I am usually wanting more. The biggest difference, the number of episodes in a series usually is only 11, vs. an average of 5 seasons of 18-21 episodes for most of the shows I watch, mind you most have gone on for well over 5 seasons. This is not always a good thing, so like I said, I am so glad I found Jdramas to watch. Wish me luck on finding them all subbed.

Introduction Blog
So this is the first blog! Yay :D Basically this is just a blog where i share my views on Jdramas. These are just my opinions, so if you don't agree, please be polite about it. I do not update very often so please forgive long intermissions. This is also my first time officially blogging so I might suck at it, so anyone who actually reads this, THANK YOU!
